Before your treatment
- Flaking becomes active from 3 to 5 days after the treatment, so you must reapply recovery cream frequently and must never pick the flakes off or soak and rub them away. Scarring and pigmentation from forcibly removed flakes can take a long time to recover.
- Cases with no flaking after the Aladdin peel are not usual, but there can be various causes — a thick layer of dead skin that the fine spicules cannot penetrate easily, or slow skin regeneration. If there has been no shedding after about two weeks, we will discuss the approach for your next session at the consultation.
