Elite+ is a hair-removal laser that fires from above without touching the skin. Because the device never contacts the skin it is hygienic, and cooling is applied as it fires, so there is little discomfort. Output is adjusted to hair thickness, so each area is treated at a different strength.

How does hair removal differ for women and men?

Output — Men's hair is thicker and denser, so the output is set differently.

Before your treatment

• [Before] If the hair is long there is a risk of burns, so please shave the day before your appointment.
• [Before] Please do not pluck hair with tweezers, wax or tan before the treatment.
• [Before] If you shave on the day, laser hair removal may not be possible that day.
• [Before] Please avoid tight clothing, to reduce irritation and friction on the treated area.
• [Before] For underarm treatment, wearing a sleeveless top makes the session quicker.
• [Before] ★ For cancellations or changes to a hair-removal booking, please contact us at least a day in advance.
• [After] Redness, a burning feeling and discomfort may last 2 to 3 days; cooling care such as an ice pack on the day is recommended.
• [After] Please apply plenty of moisturising lotion to the treated area to prevent folliculitis and itching.
• [After] Please do not rub the treated area hard, and apply sunscreen when going outdoors.
• [After] During the course of treatment, please avoid plucking hair with tweezers, waxing and tanning.
• [After] If the hair is long there is a risk of burns, so please shave carefully the day before your appointment.
• [After] If sessions are spaced too far apart the effect can drop, so please keep to a 2 to 3 week interval.
